Opening All Things Beautiful Gift Boutique was a dream come true, and it’s been a wonderful journey ever since. After I retired, I decided to follow my passion for creating a space where people could find one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect their unique style. Located in the heart of Downtown Decatur, IL, my shop has been a fixture in the community for 13 years. It’s been an absolute joy watching people return time and again, knowing they’ll find something special here.   
As an African American woman, creating this space has been both personal and rewarding. I’ve always wanted my boutique to be more than just a store—I wanted it to be a place where people feel welcome, no matter where they come from. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of building relationships with those who visit, and I’m proud of the community I’ve been able to create around the shop.
